Psalm 150 revisited

This is the last week of National Poetry Month. Here is a version of a psalm just for poets.

Psalm 150 Revisited

Praise God with symbols
with clashing symbols
with metaphor
with simile
with rhyme
in meter, in song
with the flow of ink
from a writer’s pen
with haiku, with sonnet
free verse, blank verse
alliteration
the sound of words
chanting up beyond
the evening sky.
Praise Him on high
all creative creatures of this land.
Shout praises to the Lord!
