About Darlene Moore Berg & Poetical Pursuits

I have been scribbling poetry off and on from my early teens with my first publications in the high school newspaper and one of those anthologies for young people. Published a few in student publications in college and stopped sending, but never stopped writing entirely. Most of my published poems have been throughout the past two decades in various small publications including Time of Singing, the Penwood Review, Bellowing Ark, Windhover, A Cape Rock. Others have ceased publication ie A New Song, ProCreation. Online I have poems at Utmost Christian Writers and Amarillo Bay Literary Review. I write from a Christian worldview. By vocation I am a medical professional. I have had my poems honed by fellow writers these past several years through a forum sponsored by Utmost Christian Writers and in which I became acquainted with several poets who have inspired me to continue writing. I will be posting mostly poems that have at one time appeared in print somewhere or other for enjoyment, inspiration and perhaps just a smile. I plan to work on my “unpublished” chapbook manuscripts, revising and perhaps self-publishing in the near future.
